Irfanview è un software di gestione immagini, usato per visualizzarle ed editarle in parte.
Irfanview supporta i più comuni formati quali BMP, DIB, JPEG, GIF, animated GIF, PNG, PCX, multipage TIFF e TGA.
Il supporto per la gestione comprende il Drag & Drop, il browser directory per selezionare le cartelle contenenti i file immagine, il supporto TWAIN per lo scanner, la conversione batch, lo slide show,  e il controllo del colore.
Irfanview è pienamente compatibile con immagini processate da AdcSee ma al contrario è completamente gratuito.
